A little over four years ago we enlisted Leslie to assist in our retirement plans. Leslie was known to us from a previous successful sale of my partners home about 4 years prior to that. My situation was more complex.

I wanted to keep the sale of my home quiet as I was still working and privacy was important to me. I had lived in the home for 23 years. We also were purchasing a farm that was 300 km’s away (north of Kingston). It was complicated as I also required a bridge loan to accomplish both things at once. I wanted to live in the home for a few months while I finished working and my partner was at the farm. I did not want it listed with MLS. We were in the process of painting inside but not near done with improving the home for sale. Many of the mechanics of the home were updated but the inside was primarily similar to what it was for years.

I knew a price that I would be prepared to accept and knew I could get close. I briefly put it on a social media platform and had several nibbles. I took it down before enlisting Leslie’s help. In real estate terms it took very little time. One Friday evening Leslie came over with both deals. We sold and bought the same night. All of the wishes I wanted about how it would need to occur were handled very professionally by Leslie.

Did we get the best deals we could - maybe not but that was not my requirement. Is it the way Leslie would usually do business - maybe not. What I can say is if you need a realtor that can handle individual needs of a customer - Leslie is quite capable of doing so. Leslie is also quite capable in handling a more traditional purchase and sale. I am confident the people who bought the home are happy with the purchase and investment. We are happy with our purchase and it funded a good deal of my retirement.

Leslie and I still keep in touch on social media and I continue to follow her business. Success continues. And now with many years experience. To coin a phrase Get Leslie.
